A senior client based in Hertfordshire is searching for a full time live in carer to assist with many elements of their daily routine. Someone who can drive an automatic and manual carer is essential.

Working hours: Thursday to Monday live in 12 hours with minimum of 2 hours break

Duties include:

• assisting clients with care such as grooming, washing and maintaining personal hygiene standards
• preparing and serving healthy, nutritious meals, taking into account any special dietary needs and personal preferences
• identifying activities that would appeal to the patients and ensuring that they are suitably stimulated
• preparing food and drinks for patients
• contributing to a clean, well-organized and pleasant environment for all patients since the clients deaf-writing messages and using hand gestures is helpful but also someone that knows basic or advanced sign language
• keep on top of the laundry
• ironing and wardrobe management
• cooking
• running errands

They need someone to start on the 2nd week of June or until they find the right person for the role.
