We have an open Live In Carer position for an independent and skillful Live In Carer who is keen to utilise their skills and provide care assistance to an elderly client based in the Westminster, London area. As a Carer, your main task is to assist the elderly client with day to day activities and accompany them to appointments and events. This role will be flexible in terms of working days but ideally 5 to 6 days per week, 8 am to 6 pm.

You will be in charge with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The Carer will be provided with own bedroom and bathroom. The client is looking for someone who can start in May but the client is willing to offer an early start date for the right candidate.
