We currently have a vacancy for a willing and passionate Full Time Live In Carer for a family in Barnet, London. They are seeking to hire someone who can be a practical and emotional support to their elderly family member. This role will be flexible in terms of working days but ideally 4 weekdays and Saturday.

Main duties:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
