An Enfield, London family is looking for a Full Time Live In Carer to help them look after an elderly client. The family wants the Carer to be an emotional and practical support for the client and to always ensure that the clients are safe and well tended. The working hours for this position would be Monday to Friday, full time, with flexibility.

The Carer is responsible for

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal, as the Carer will also be tasked to bring the elderly person to appointments. Own private bedroom and bathroom will be provided for the Carer. The family is looking for someone who can start in August, but is flexible with the start date for the suitable candidate.
