A full time live in housekeeper carer cook is required by a senior client based in Scotland to assist with general care duties, provide companionship, keep their home tidy and cook meals. A carer who drives is needed for this role.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 12 hours with breaks included. On a rota of 4 weeks on/off with the current carer.

Duties include:

• general care duties
• personal care duties including full body wash in bed and help with oral hygiene
• help with providing, emptying and cleaning his urine bottle
• help to and from the commode for bowel movements
• cooking and providing all meals at regular times
• administering medication
• companionship
• mobility support
• continence management
• encouraging, motivating and stimulating the client
• ensuring that the client is safe and comfortable at all times
• supporting the client with anything he requires
• ensuring that the client has everything they need at all times
• helping enable to regain and build up his strength and promote client's independence on a day-to-day basis even though mostly in bed
• being welcoming to friends' visits and calls
• housekeeping duties such as hoovering, mopping, dusting
• laundry, changing bedsheets and linen
• clearing out the fridge when required
• managing food in the freezer
• shopping for, and putting away groceries
• making sure the house stays neat at all times
• cooking and preparing meals (healthy, delicious and nutritious meals)

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. The ideal start date is on the 22nd of May.
