We are currently recruiting for a patient and responsible Carer who also has a great passion for using their expertise to maintain a home to a high standard. This vacancy is for a Full Time Live In Housekeeper Carer role for a family in West Coker in South Somerset area.

As Housekeeper Carer, you will be taking care of a young adult and at the same time assist in the upkeep of the family’s home. This will be a dual focused role in which you will be independent in carrying out the household chores and organising your time to do so efficiently. This role will be flexible in terms of working days but ideally 5 to 6 days per week, full time.

The duties for this position would include:

• ensuring all medication is taken
• preparing nutritious meals
• taking them to appointments
• encouraging physical activities
• organising the laundry and ironing
• unloading the dishwasher
• arranging day trips
• keeping home tidy
• changing bedsheets,
• keeping the kitchen clean at all times,
• washing the dishes,
• loading the dishwasher,
• grocery shopping,

Someone who is pet friendly would be ideal for this role as the family has two friendly dogs and you will be asked to take them on walks. You must be a confident driver. They are looking to hire as soon as possible but are willing to wait for the right candidate.
