A care companion is required by a senior client in Brockenhurst to provide assistance with daily routines and to provide companionship in a full time live out role. A candidate who lives in the local area is ideal.

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, ideally from 7 AM to 7 PM with the flexibility to work additional hours on Sunday morning

Duties include:

• providing companionship
• assisting the client with personal care such as using the toilet
• taking the client to enjoy activities
• organising and accompanying to hospital visits
• cooking meals
• reminding them to take their prescribed medications
• assist in bathing and showering
• help in styling their hair or shaving
• using aids such as walkers
• stimulating and encouraging the client
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• ensuring the clients are safe and comfortable

They require someone who has a valid UK Residence Permit. Ideally, the client would like the care to start in May but they can offer an earlier start date for the perfect candidate.
