Live Out Carer in Reading

Salary: £15 to £18 an hour

Our elderly client in Reading is looking for a full-time live-out carer to assist with mobility and provide support for easier performance of daily routines.

Working hours: 5 days a week, 10pm to 6am.

Duties include:

  • incontinence care, including turning the client and changing him
  • providing companionship
  • ensuring the client's safety and comfort at all times
  • reporting any changes in the client's condition, especially in breathing, to the client's wife
  • noting the client's limited intake of food and fluids, usually comprising a few sips of water and some yogurt
  • presence of two friendly Labradors in the house, usually on their bed in the kitchen at night

The client is looking for someone who can start on December 13th. They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit.
