A care receiver based in Somerset is looking to hire a full time live out carer to assist with some personal care and make sure that the client is always safe. They require someone who can drive an automatic car. It would also be ideal if the carer is comfortable around animals since the family will most likely have a dog in the future.

Working hours: 8.30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, 2 candidates one working 3 days and another working 2 days.

Duties include:

• direct care to the client
• accompanying appointments/therapy sessions when needed
• dressing and changing nappies as required
• close monitoring body temperature and signs of illness
• driving the client to school sessions
• reading stories and playing with the client
• prepare meals and cook for the client based on their special diet
• light cleaning
• dog walking
• make sure that the client is safe and comfortable

They need someone to start as soon as possible. They also need 2 PAs to cover and provide respite hours over the weekend/evening.
