Our elderly client currently residing in Suffolk is looking to hire a responsible part time live out carer to provide personal care and assistance to the client along with light housekeeping. The carer must be comfortable with animals since the client owns a dog and a cat.

A candidate who knows how to drive is preferred.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am then 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Duties include:

• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client in answering calls and emails
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• ensuring that the client is safe and comfortable

The family needs someone who can start immediately.
