We are seeking a Live In Carer in Longfield, Kent who can assist an elderly person around the house and accompany the elderly person to appointments and special gatherings. The working hours for this role would be full time, ideally Tuesday to Saturday, 8 to 9 hours per day.

The Carer is responsible for

• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• running errands with the elderly person
• organising appointments for the elderly person
• taking the elderly person on short walks around the neighbourhood
• helping with personal grooming
• assisting with bathing
• helping with home administration
• organising daily schedule for the elderly person

A key aspect of the role is encouraging and supporting the senior client to enable them to live as independently as possible with the highest standards of support and care.

Someone who knows how to drive would be ideal for this role but this is not a requirement. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible but they are willing to wait for the right candidate.
