Our client, a family in Cranbrook, Kent is recruiting a Live Out Part time Carer to help an elderly relative around the house as well as assist them with their day to day activities. The Carer will be required from Monday to Friday, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week. There will be additional hours available, flexibility is a must for our client, if you cannot be flexible, please do not apply.

Your duties will include

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
• organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the elderly person manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs
• Someone who can be calm in every situation is needed for this role.

Our client is looking for a carer who is looking for a long-term placement and someone who knows how to drive as the Carer will accompany our client to occasional doctor's appointments. The family would like the Carer to start in March but they are flexible with the start date for the most suitable candidate.
