Our client based in Havering is searching for a part time live out carer to assist with all aspects of personal care, provide companionship, and help with light housekeeping. The carer is expected to take on some PA duties as well.

Working hours: 18 hours per week-3 evening shifts which would make up the 18 hours. These evening shifts are flexible but the new PA must be willing to work during a weekend. 5pm to 11pm

Duties include:

• dressing, putting on my body jacket
• toileting, washing, showering
• shaving, cleaning, cutting nails
• brushing teeth, cleaning ears
• hoisting, lifting, positioning
• feeding through peg, cleaning peg, changing peg, bi-pap
• administering medication through peg
• administering inhalers
• physio when poorly
• administering home nebuliser when unwell
• taking out in a manual wheelchair
• turning and moving off a night time
• help getting set up on my laptop when in bed
• help write things down on the calendar
• someone to get my companion (environmental control) positioned in my hand correctly
• take and make phone calls on behalf of the client
• need help using the computer (typing for me etc)
• housekeeping- washing and ironing
• arrange and sort out food and supplies deliveries
• shopping

They need someone to start as soon as possible.
