Part Time Carer in Newbury

Location: Newbury, Berkshire

Experience: 2 years

Salary: £11 to £15 per hour

We are looking for a patient, reliable and flexible live out part time carer in Newbury, Berkshire. Someone who lives close to the client's area is ideal.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 30 hours.

Duties include:

  • helping with laundry and ironing
  • changing bed linen and making beds
  • organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
  • organising and taking the client to appointments
  • assisting with bathing and personal grooming
  • helping the client in answering calls and emails
  • getting to know the client and their interests and needs
  • giving emotional and practical support to the client
  • food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The client is looking for a carer with a full and clean driving license. Ideal start date will be on the 3rd week of July.
