We are looking for a reliable, efficient and flexible Part Time Carer to provide personal care and both practical and emotional support to a senior client based in their home in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The hours for this position require the Part Time Carer to work on Monday to Friday, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.

As a Part Time Carer, your duties will include

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal but not required. The family wants the Carer to start by the 3rd week of November.
