An elderly couple based in Merton is searching for a part time live out housekeeper carer cook to assist with many elements of their daily routines. The couple is vegetarian and speaks Gujarati. The carer would need to be culturally knowledgeable, and be able to cook vegetarian food.

Working hours: 5 to 6 days per week. 3 hours in the morning/lunch and 3 hours in the afternoon/evening

Duties include:

• assisting with personal care
• assisting with general care duties
• assisting with mobility if ever needed
• ensuring the clients are safe and comfortable
• running errands
• accompanying outings and appointments
• organising and administering medicine for the couple, daily.
• ironing and laundry
• dusting and polishing
• making up beds and changing linens
• sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• maintaining an exceptionally clean environment
• preparing breakfast, lunch and any other meals the clients may need in the day

They need someone to start as soon as possible.
