A family in Surrey Quays is looking for a diligent and dependable Live In Full Time Housekeeper Carer who can help them look after an elderly person whilst at the same time maintain their property clean and well kept.

The work schedule for this position will be on a rota basis, 3 weeks of full time work and then one week off. Someone who knows how to drive is ideal, as the Housekeeper Carer would be occasionally asked to bring the elderly person to appointments and events.

You will be in charge of

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• organising leisure activities
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• helping the client manage their budget and pay bills
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs

The family needs the Housekeeper Carer to start in the 2nd week of December. The family will provide a spacious private room for the Housekeeper Carer.
