A Tagalog speaking live in carer who can support with domestic tasks is needed by an elderly couple in Minehead, Somerset. The clients are still independent and mainly need companionship and emotional support.

Working hours: 5 -7 days a week, 12 hours a day with breaks; 84 hours each week

Duties include:

• providing companionship
• reminding to take medication
• assisting the clients to doctors’ appointments and wherever else required
• ironing, washing, and keeping the rooms well ventilated
• clearing out cupboards when needed
• putting flowers in the house
• cooking nutritious meals
• patiently communicating with the client
• encouraging and playing boardgames with the client
• light housekeeping duties where required
• ensuring the clients are safe and comfortable at all times

They require someone with a valid UK Residence Permit. The family is looking to hire on the 31st of July. Someone who drives is ideal for this position.
