A Colchester-based client is looking for a reliable live in full time carer who speaks Tagalog and can provide assistance and support in a client-centred approach.

Working hours: 7 days a week; 12 hours a day with breaks

Duties include:

• assisting the client with personal care such as using the toilet
• taking the client to enjoy activities
• organising and accompanying to hospital visits
• cooking meals
• reminding them to take their prescribed medications
• assist in bathing and showering
• help in styling their hair or shaving
• using aids such as walkers
• stimulating and encouraging the clients
• helping with bedtime routines
• ensuring the clients are safe and comfortable

They require someone who has a valid UK Residence Permit. The ideal start date for the candidate is on the 2nd week of April but the client can offer an earlier start date for the right candidate.
