A Chelmsford-based client is looking for a compassionate and dedicated temporary live-in full time carer who can provide assistance and support in a client-centred approach. A driver would be advantageous for this role.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 12 hours a day with breaks (days off can be arranged if needed)

Duties include:

• assisting with personal care, including showering, oral hygiene, and changing
• providing support with toileting and using the commode or toilet
• assisting with mobility exercises and transferring to different locations
• accompanying the client outside
• feeding the client, including PEG feeding for medications and most meals
• providing stoma care as needed -assisting with using the iPad and messages on slow days
• maintaining a tidy home environment
• occasional cooking and assisting in the kitchen

The ideal candidate will be available to start on June 23rd and the end date is initially set for July 20th, with the potential for extension or even a permanent position. They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit.
