An elderly client in the Kensington and Chelsea area is looking for a temporary live in full time carer for 2 and a half months. The client is still very independent and mainly needs help in preparing meals and doing some general care routines. The ideal candidate would be someone who drives and has strong communication skills.

Working hours: 5 to 7 days a week: 12 hours a day with breaks

Duties include:

• provide companionship
• stimulating and encouraging the client
• keeping the client hydrated
• supervising medication
• light general housekeeping duties and taking care of the client's belongings
• cooking and preparing all meals as required
• supporting mobility
• patiently communicating and listening to the client
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require someone with a valid UK Residence Permit. This is for temporary role and the candidate is expected to work for 2 and half months starting on May 27 to August 12, 2024.
