A temporary full-time live-in carer position is open in Northampton, Northamptonshire. The role primarily involves assisting an elderly person with various aspects of their daily routine. Having a driver's capability would be advantageous. The expected duration for this temporary role is from November 10th to December 8th.

Working hours: 7 days a week- 12 hours with minimum 2 hours break per day.

Duties include:

• assist in dressing, promoting independence while providing needed support
• aid in mobility, helping the individual move in and out of bed, sofas, car seats, and any other required places
• practice patience, inquire about preferences, and follow the person's needs without imposition
• clean the commode as necessary to maintain hygiene
• ensure the house is tidy and clean, taking into account the bi-weekly cleaner's visits
• manage laundry, ensuring it's done and ironed
• handle shopping and cooking based on the individual's preferences and needs

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit.
