An elderly client living in the Richmond area is in need of a full time live in carer who can provide mobility support and help with the daily living tasks. The carer will be responsible for preparing meals so the client wants someone who is a confident cook.

Working hours: March 27th to 30th and then April 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th. 12 hours a day with breaks

Duties include:

• Safely using aids and personal equipment (the client uses a wheelchair)
• Assisting with mobility
• Medication prompting
• Engaging and taking clients to various activities
• To assist the clients in getting up in the morning and going to bed at night
• To assist clients with personal care
• Preparing meals
• Providing companionship
• Keeping the home tidy

They also need someone who is physically strong and can work on a temporary basis.
