A client in the South Hams area seeks a full time live in carer who is keen to work in a temporary position for one month. The client is still very independent and mainly needs help in preparing meals and doing some general care routines.

Working hours: 5 days a week; 10 hours a day with breaks

Duties include:

• assisting the client with some aspects of personal care (mostly supervising)
• organising groceries for the client
• cooking meals and preparing snacks
• accompanying the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• medication prompting
• providing companionship
• light housekeeping
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require someone who has a valid UK Residence Permit. This is for temporary role and the candidate is expected to work for 1 month starting on February 3 to March 2, 2025.
