A lovely elderly couple based in Edinburgh is looking to hire a full time live in housekeeper carer cook to assist with personal care, keep their home tidy, and prepare meals when needed. It is also required that the carer can drive and have their own car.

This is a temporary role and the carer will be expected to work for around 1 month.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 12 hours with breaks included.

Duties include:

• general care support
• personal care
• companionship
• ensuring that the clients are safe and comfortable at all times
• stimulating and motivating the clients
• taking the clients out for walks and activities whenever required
• entertaining and encourage the clients
• communicating with family members
• medication prompting and management
• ensuring that the clients have everything they might need at all times, as well as incontinence management
• light housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing up dishes, hoovering, mopping, and running errands
• cooking and preparing meals for the clients whenever they required

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. They need someone to start as soon as possible.
