An elderly client based in Harpenden requires a temporary housekeeper carer cook to help with daily tasks, provide the client with practical and emotional support, and keep the client's home tidy. They are open to live-in or live-out candidates.

Working hours: 7 days a week Live in: 12 hours with breaks included Live out: 9 AM to 6 PM

Duties include:

• personal care
• establishing a good routine for the client
• mental health support
• providing companionship
• mobility support
• motivating and stimulating the client
• ensuring that the client has everything she needs at all times
• taking the client out for walks and activities
• accompanying the client to and from appointments
• cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner and any snacks in between
• general housekeeping duties surrounding the client's care, such as laundry
• hoovering, mopping
• changing bedsheets and linen
• washing up dishes
• maintaining and neat environment at all times
• ensuring the client is comfortable and safe

They require someone who has a valid UK Residence Permit. This is for temporary role and the candidate is expected to work for 1 week starting on March 13 to 20, 2024 (may be extended one additional week).
