A busy family in Salisbury, Wiltshire seeks a part time live in care assistant to help an elderly loved one move around the house on a temporary basis. It is essential that you have a willingness and right attitude towards your work. The carer is expected to work for around 3 weeks.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
• organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the elderly person manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs

The family is looking for someone who can start straight away.
