A client in Radlett, Hertfordshire, is seeking a part-time live-out elderly care provider to provide assistance around the house and offer emotional and physical support. They are looking for someone who can work on November 17th. A driver would be an additional benefit.

Working hours: One day ad-hoc, Friday 17th November 9am - 6pm.

Duties include:

• provide companionship
• ensure the client is safe and comfortable at all times
• assisting with some physical tasks such as helping the client apply creams
• ensuring safe movement around the house
• managing/administering twice her daily medication
• keeping the client's bedroom and circulation rooms tidy
• light hoovering or indoor sweeping in the kitchen
• running errands or doing a quick food shop locally if required
• putting the waste out for bin pick up if required
• make sure the client is appropriately fed at breakfast, lunch and dinner
• preparing a hot meal in the early evening, sometimes from pre-packaged meals, sometimes from basic ingredients

The family ideally seeks someone available for ad-hoc shifts over 6-8 weeks. After 2-3 weeks, they will explore the possibility of transitioning into a permanent part-time role, such as two days a week with overnight stays. They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit.
