A reliable and highly skilled carer is needed in Newbury to assist an elderly client in a live in full time basis. Your main task is to provide assistance in the daily routines, accompany the client to appointments and events and make sure that they are always safe and comfortable.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7 pm

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The family is looking for someone who can start in 3 weeks.
