We currently have a vacancy for a professional Full Time Live In Carer for a family in Enfield, London. They are seeking to hire someone who can be a practical and emotional support to their elderly family member. You will also be tasked to assist the elderly person with daily routines and accompany them to appointments and events. This role will be full time from Monday to Friday, and then half a day on Saturday.

You will be in charge with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The Carer will be provided with own bedroom and bathroom. The family is looking for someone who can start in November but they are flexible for an earlier start date for the right candidate.
