A Live In Housekeeper Carer is needed by a family in Islington, London to help maintain a clean and tidy household as well as help an elderly person with daily routines and activities.

The Housekeeper Carer will provide person-centred care and support in order for the elderly client to take part in all aspects of everyday life and to enjoy a wide range of activities. They are seeking someone hardworking and organised with their house tasks. This position requires a full time work on Monday to Saturday.

The Housekeeper Carer would be required to:

• hoover and mop the floors
• run errands for the client such as organise groceries
• unload and load the dishwasher
• do the laundry and ironing
• weekly deep cleans of the kitchen and bathrooms
• organise daily outings for the client
• prepare meals and snacks
• help with home administration
• organising leisure activities
• helping with personal care and grooming
• assisting with bathing
• giving emotional and practical support to the elderly person
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
