A lovely family in the Kent area is looking for a full time live in carer companion to provide some assistance with personal care and practical support to a senior client. Ideally, a carer who can prepare nutritious meals and provide daily companionship to the client. They need someone who has a clean driver's license and knows how to drive.

Working hours: Most likely 6 days a week, 12 hours a day with breaks, at the start it will be fewer hours. (flexibility needed)

Accommodation: private bathroom, bedroom and sitting room with integral small kitchenette upstairs

Duties include:

• assisting with personal care
• provide companionship
• plan and prepare tasty and nutritious meals
• shopping
• collect prescriptions and ensure they are taken daily
• help with mobility and encourage to take a short daily stroll
• arrange short trips, out for a walk
• ensure that the bathrooms/shower, beddings are clean
• keep the house tidy
• laundry and ironing weekly
• book appointments and accompany the client
• keep the family updated
• arrange and accompany the client to social activity
• ensure that the client is safe and happy
