A client living in the Hampshire area is searching for a full time live in carer to assist with their daily routines. Someone who drives an automatic car is required.

Working hours: 40 hours per week plus or maybe including 2 -3 evenings companionship. Flexible hours. Days are generally Monday to Friday but on an ad hoc basis including Saturday/Sunday occasionally (once per month). When parents are away overnight, full time including overnight to provide cover for parents.

Duties include:

• engage with the client
• show interest in his activities and interests and keep him company when required at home
• do activities with him at home, art, playing cards, chatting, listening to music, and watching TV together as and when required
• drive the client to his activities/appointments as and when required
• take the client out for shopping/trips out as and when required
• keeping the house clean by vacuuming, dusting, de cobwebbing and tidy, changing beds when required, some Ironing of family clothes
• occasional food shopping
• preparing meals when required
• walk the dog twice a day (when parents are out).
• feed dog and let out during the day

They are looking to hire in the 3rd week of September.
