We currently have an open position for a willing and skilful Carer whose expertise lies in the field of elder care. This vacancy is for a Full Time Live In Carer role for a family in Newham, London.

As a Carer, your main task is to assist the elderly person in the daily routines, accompany them to appointments and events, and making sure that they are always safe, happy, and attended. This role will be flexible in terms of working days but ideally 4 to 5 days per week, full time.

You will be in charge with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The Carer will be provided with own bedroom and bathroom. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, but they are flexible with the start date for the right candidate.
