An elderly client based in Kensington is looking for a part time carer to help her build her confidence and assist with her independence. The ideal candidate would be someone who can encourage her for a short walk around the area for around 20 minutes every day.

Working hours: 5 to 6 days a week, 3 hours a day, ideally 2pm to 5pm (or +/-1 hour)

Duties include:

• general care duties such as assisting with personal care when required
• assisting with dressing
• reminding her to take her medication
• ensuring the client is feeling safe and comfortable at all times
• providing companionship
• encouraging the client to take a walk everyday
• needs some assistance with general housekeeping duties such as hoovering, washing up, some laundry
• keeping the rooms tidy etc.
• cooking meals and preparing snacks and drinks when required

They need someone to start as soon as possible.
