An exciting opportunity has become available in Petersham area where a family seeks to hire a Live Out Part Time Carer who can assist their elderly loved one with daily routines and activities.

The Part Time Carer will be required to work from Tuesday to Saturday, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week.

Your duties will include

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

They are looking to hire someone experienced and passionate about providing care and support in a client-centred approach.

The family is seeking a candidate who is looking for a long-term placement. Someone who knows how to drive is ideal but not required. The family wants the Carer to start as soon as possible.
