An exciting opportunity has become available in Elstree, Hertfordshire where a family seeks to hire a Live Out Part Time Carer to assist their elderly loved one. They are looking to hire someone who has the passion and experience in providing care and support in a client centred approach.

The Part Time Carer will be required to work from Monday to Friday, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week.

Your duties will include

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The family is seeking for a candidate who is looking for a long term placement. Someone who knows how to drive is ideal but not required. The family wants the Carer to start as soon as possible.
