We are looking for a loving, respectful and flexible full time live in care assistant to provide personal care, assistance with daily living tasks and provide both practical and emotional support to a senior service user based in East Sussex. This is for a temporary role and the candidate is expected to work for around 5 months.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 7 am to 7 pm

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

Own accommodation will be provided for the carer. The family wants the carer to start by the end of December.
