A lovely family based in Leicester is looking to hire a temporary full time live in carer who will look after their loved one and provide all the assistance they need. Someone who has knowledge and experience in peg feeding and medication management is ideal as well.

Working hours: 7 days per week, full time hours. The shift pattern is 7 days on and 7 days off.

Duties include:

• Implementing all aspects of the client’s support plan
• Supporting with social and learning activities
• Being proactive, making daily tasks fun and promoting independence
• Working in the family home to support the parents/family
• Have a good working knowledge of peg feeding/medication management
• General chores, including tidying, cleaning, vacuuming, dusting and laundry
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands

They are ideally looking for someone who can drive. The family is keen to hire immediately.
