A lovely client based in Leicester is looking to hire a full time live in carer to join them on a temporary basis. The carer will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the client’s support plan as well as helping with some housekeeping and cooking duties.

They already have a carer that works 7 days on but they need someone who is willing to cover the 7 days off for the next few months or so. Someone who can drive is a massive bonus.

Working hours: 7 days per week, full time hours. The shift pattern is 7 days on and 7 days off.

Duties include:

• Implementing all aspects of the client’s support plan
• Supporting with social and learning activities
• Being proactive, making the daily tasks fun and promoting independence
• Working in the family home to support the parents/family
• Have a good working knowledge of peg feeding/medication management
• General chores, including tidying, cleaning, vacuuming, dusting and laundry
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands

It would ideal if the carer is pet friendly since the client has a cat. They are looking for someone to start on the 2nd week of December.
